Providing Resources to You!
Welcome to the beginning of what will hopefully be an interesting website series!
It’s been over 2 years since the Not A Scratch podcast began, and ~2.5 years since the system began construction. This has been a large scale project still going on to this day, as seen through the show, and we sincerely appreciate your support throughout the years. It’s finally time for resources to be brought to you, as an opportunity for you to get a more direct look at what goes into the game!
The Resources section is split into 2 different sections:
A section relating to the Not A Scratch show, where you’ll be able to see the history, characters, and events occurring in-universe
A section relating to the Not A Scratch system, where you’ll be able to see the math/formulas/magic(?) that combines to create the semi-coherent system we use for our game
As you can probably tell, this section is the latter, and we’ll be sharing with you the aspects of the system that we can, as well as sharing some nice resource documents that you can use for whatever purposes you need, from building your own system to making other large scale Pokémon projects!
To make sure that we upload what you want, however, we HIGHLY recommend a couple of things:
Join our Discord page! This is probably the biggest place for multiple reasons:
You’ll join our community - and all of the great folks that are interested in the content we create across a variety of shows. You’ll also find new friends that are just as interested in TTRPGs/Pokémon/Rolling-Dice as we are, and it’ll likely be a big advantage to your games in the future!
It helps with our numbers - we’re always looking to grow our community, and honestly, you’d be helping us by making our Discord community bigger :)
You’ll be able to reach us directly - This is the place that is probably the best to contact the Not A Scratch team directly. All of us are regularly online in some capacity, and can answer your questions if we have them!
The most important: You’ll be able to directly participate in the polls we do - We’re going to be asking our community what they’re most interested in checking out, and this is the easiest way for us to do so! Joining us gives you a vote into the type of documents that you want to see, including damage dice, abilities, moves, and more!
Follow Not A Scratch on Twitter: Twitter is probably the biggest platform we have in terms of followers, and thus is another HUGE place we go to for spreading news about the show and its newest creations. Following us really does help in the numbers game, which is incredibly important in spreading the show and making things better for everyone! Plus, it’s free, which is always nice
Support us on Patreon (only if you’re interested and financially able): This is big in terms of building a full-fledged system. We’ve got a number of goals, but the more Patreon members we have, the quicker we can get to building a proper book for the system, full of art and clear explanations (as opposed to the word barrage that our team currently has). Supporting us on Patreon also gets you extra benefits for the show and spinoff series, which is always a plus!
